Hi, I'm Will Quan, Chief Technology Officer at Fleete.
Our vision is to drive innovation across the commercial fleet EV charging infrastructure. We work with our customers to understand their implementation needs. As CTO, I lead the technology product, digital platform strategy, and development organisation. So my role is really to enable working back from our customers a seamless digital experience.
The attraction is I'm passionate about sustainability. The opportunity really to combine technology to really accelerate commercial EV adoption is what really drives me and the opportunity to build the business with an exceptional founding team and leadership.
We are just scratching the surface which is a big reason why I joined Fleete. We have a great opportunity ahead of us to really decarbonise the transportation industry. There was a recent survey in October 2022 from Transport & Environment that attributed 28% of greenhouse gases to 2% of vehicles and they’re heavy duty-vehicles. So our target segment is really to decarbonise that 2%.
I live in London, I’m based in London with my wife and two kids. Our mode of transport is a Honda E. It’s been a great transition. Obviously we need more charging infrastructure as we drive out of London and further afield.
