Charge with us

How your company can charge at our Tilbury Hub

All your options explained.

There are two ways to charge with us

Note: Charging is for commercial users only. Private vehicles cannot charge at our Tilbury Charging Hub.
1. For regular users

Sign up with us directly

You can become a Fleete customer directly by signing up to our General Hub Terms. That will give you access to the Fleete app (we can also issue Fleete RFID cards), and your account & billing is directly with us.

This is designed for regular users who can commit to a minimum annual volume (in MWh); the greater the minimum volume, the lower your p/kWh rate will be.

If you're not ready to commit to a minimum volume but would like to try charging with us, we offer a 'pay as you go' trial. This is ideal for those operators unsure of their routes, number of electric vehicles, or are generally early in their fleet transition.

2. For occasional users

Use a Charge Card

We've partnered with a number of charge card providers to allow you to use Tilbury just like you would use a fuel card with a diesel vehicle.

Your p/kWh rate and billing is managed through the roaming partner (you have no contractual relationship with Fleete). Your driver simply rocks up and uses the charge card to start a session.

Various contracts are available with our partners, most not requiring a minimum volume - so it's ideal if you either already have an account with one of them, or if you don't think you'll charge at Tilbury very often.

Manage your charges through your Fleete account

We offer two plans:

1

Membership

You sign up for a minimum energy volume and get full access to our management platform. The more energy you commit to, the less you pay per kWh.

The management platform gives you full control of your drivers, vehicles and user accounts. It also gives you detailed reporting tools, allowing you to filter charge sessions, energy, and cost per department, driver, or vehicle.

Rates start at 47p/kWh and reduce as you commit to a larger volume.
2

First Mover Offer / PAYG

If you're not ready to commit to a volume but think you will be in the future, this entry-level pay as you go (PAYG) plan gives you access to our app to see charge sessions, but not the full online platform.

You'll only pay for the energy you use each month, and right now we're offering a discounted rate for the first three months. This is to give you time to figure out how much energy you might use, the idea being that you'd commit to a membership at the end of the three months. If you're not ready to commit to any volume after three months, your price becomes the normal PAYG rate.

Normal PAYG rate: 63p/kWh

Pricing

Regardless of plan, our pricing is split into two components:
The underlying energy cost is a passthrough - it's how much the actual electricity costs us. We then add our premium, which covers the build cost and our operating costs.
You pay the combined rate.

Manage your acocunt via the Charge Card provider

We currently accept three Roaming Partners:

The Paua EV Charge Card gives you access to the UK's largest truck-compatible charging network. One card, one app and smart filters designed for commercial vehicles, all in one place.
The Allstar Chargepass is a combined fuel and electric charging card with access to 90% of UK fuel sites and over 100,000 electric connectors.
The Volvo Open Charge network (available to all truck brands) offers real-time charger status to plan your day better. Now rolling out via Volvo Connect.

Questions about Roaming Partners?

If you already have an account with one of our partners or have one in mind, we recommend contacting them directly as they manage the accounts and pricing – we simply provide the energy. If you have general questions about how using a roaming partner works, or aren't sure if it's the right solution for you, feel free to contact us.
